The Role

We are looking for a smart, innovative Digital Account Director who will deliver truly integrated digital solutions, exceptional client satisfaction, and of course revenue growth across multiple large accounts in Vietnam.

The role requires the ability to develop strong client relationships and lead the strategic direction across a portfolio of digital channels, including Creative, Media, Content, Social, CRM.

Importantly, the Digital Account Director will be someone who is capable of inspiring and coaching the team to provide the best level of service to the client.

The role includes coordination of the Delivery team servicing the client business regionally. The role will also oversee financial and operational aspects i.e. Revenue forecasting and pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and mentor a delivery team to identify and deliver the best possible digital solutions and client service to large accounts.
  • Conducting Business Development activities that lead to closing new clients while nurturing existing clients.
  • Persuasive and confident approach to digital ideas that support broader brand strategy with an awareness of end-to-end services.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Full financial responsibility for a specific group of large accounts.
  • Work closely with the internal resources to develop strategic thinking for account planning and new opportunities including timely reporting.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of HHG service offering, and lead presentations of responses and pitches to the client.
  • Stay tuned into new digital trends, industry innovation through self-managed research and learning, as well as participating in HHG coordinated learning activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate caliber or equivalent business experience.
  • At least 8-12 years of Account Management experience within a media or digital advertising agency environment.
  • Proven experience in managing large accounts.
  • Experience managing pharmaceutical clients would be a plus.
  • Strong experience in digital campaigns (online and offline).
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of media planning, CRM, lead generation, performance marketing, and social.
  • Understanding of page search and display marketing.
  • Consultative approach to building client relationships. Able to extract insights and developing a true understanding of clients’ future business needs and challenges.
  • Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills at a Senior Client level.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required (both internally and externally) and the ability to manage new business proposals.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
