Your Role

We are looking for someone to drive impact by becoming an Entrepreneur in Residence at Hello Health Group. This role is designed for someone who is keen to experience entrepreneurship and lead the development of a key new business vertical within Hello Health.

This role works directly with our external commerce partners and sits at the intersection of internal teams such as editorial, product development, marketing, and business strategy. You will work cross-functionally to plan, test, and optimize commerce content, placements and promotions. You will track, analyze and report on the success of a wide variety of commerce efforts.

The Entrepreneur in Residence needs to demonstrate a well-rounded skill set that includes strong sales and negotiation skills, ability to sell conceptually to partners and internal stakeholders, ownership of relationships and projects, be a strong team player and a professional with a proven ability to think creatively/strategically and act tactically/efficiently. The role requires someone who is consistently proactive and entrepreneurial, but able to over-deliver on commitments. This fast-paced, dynamic role will be a great fit for someone who is interested in becoming a foundational part of a growing organization and building a new vertical within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams to develop a strategy for the development and growth of the Hello Health commerce business vertical
  • Identify and develop new relationships into strategic partnerships with retail partners, brands, e-commerce platforms whilst ensuring relationships with strategic partners are effectively built and maintained to create mutually beneficial value propositions
  • Drive top-line growth and bottom-line profits, all while carefully curating the “right” long-lasting relationships and partnerships
  • Work together with the commercial teams locally & regional to design, develop and sell in deals with partners and brands to drive revenue & enhance user experience
  • Collaborate with internal technology, product & data teams to ensure an optimal user experience is created, driving revenue, audience, and engagement growth simultaneously
  • Collaborate with editors to create quality commerce-led content across our brands, using data and metrics to inform content ideation and creation including past performance, SEO, competitor analysis, marketplace knowledge, and internal data
  • Make recommendations and oversee strategies related to affiliate marketing
  • Present weekly performance updates
  • Develop pricing strategies based on various selling-process situations and navigate client conversations around the value of our products
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of affiliate business

Qualifications & Skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, driven, agile and goal-oriented with a growth mindset
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years working experience with working in E-Commerce preferred
  • Persuasive communicator that can gain internal and external buy-in and followership for new ideas and opportunities.
  • Well-developed presentation preparation & delivery skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to maintain own work-flow and meet deadlines
  • Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience with in-depth research and problem-solving.
  • Ability to think strategically while seeing the execution through end to end
  • Ability to think creatively and approach opportunities outside of the box
  • Excellent leadership and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Works well in a team environment, with the ability to structure own work and operate independently when required
