Key responsibility:

Strategy & Planning

  • Work collaboratively with all business units and teams across the region to set the vision, objectives and strategy how to monetize Hello Health’s media inventory.
  • Develop media revenue streams for our product offerings across 9 markets in Asia via direct buys and programmatic buys from our key clients and partners which are media agencies, DSPs/SSPs and ad networks.
  • Define the Hello Health media strategy as it pertains to a cookie less world. Advise the leadership on the necessary changes & direction including how best to utilize and leverage first party and similar data to maximize our competitive advantage in the market for the next 2-3 years.
  • Maximize monetization of our media inventories across the platforms by optimizing yield and media performance for both the short and long term.
  • Contributing and working with the senior leadership team and financial planning team to develop the annual plan.
  • Keeping up to date on the latest ad-tech in the industry, ensuring Hello Health Group’s practices evolve ahead of key competitors.

Business Development & Client Management

  • Work closely with the top 6 media agencies (GroupM, Dentsu, OMG, IPG, Publicis, Havas) as well as with some key account clients directly.
  • Ensuring that brands and agencies can seamlessly engage their consumers in premium, brand-safe environments.
  • Collecting, consolidating and channeling customer feedback to appropriate channels; collaborating with product, marketing and commercial teams.
  • Communicating complex, creative solutions to agencies and clients who may be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the digital healthcare space effectively in an accessible way to drive product adoption across advertisers and agencies.
  • Interfacing with select senior client executives to provide thought leadership on media strategies, tactics and performance, as well as other emerging media opportunities.
  • Partnering with commercial leads in developing key strategic approaches to sell digital media products and services to influential client decision makers.
  • Executing client campaigns ensuring operational excellence and the relentless pursuit of optimal performance hitting the agreed campaign KPIs.

Media Yield, Data & Ad Technology

  • Work with the product team to evolve ad formats and optimize the placement of ads across Hello Health’s digital assets including websites, email, apps to maximize performance, price & yield.
  • Research, determine and support our ad tech stack implementation (DSP, SSP, DMP, Social, Ad verification, ad server, site analytics) across all markets/brands.
  • Maintain relationships with key tech platform partners and foster new relationships with key tech vendors who can add value to our platform.
  • Strategically and collaboratively work with our Digital team to define and guide the collection of personal user data in a compliant manner to enable us to serve a positive ad experience for our users & partners.
  • Ensure at all times Hello Health operates a compliant advertising operation including data collection, processing & ad serving based on local, regional & global industry standards.
  • Work with the technology team to ensure our AdTech stack and platform are maintained and performance remains in line with strategic expectations.
  • Troubleshooting with our tech, data teams & external vendors and partners to ensure concerns, questions or issues are raised and answered promptly.
  • Guide and work closely with our Data Analytics team to set performance tracking, dashboards & performance benchmarks regionally providing deep insight into campaign performance for the business.

Process Development & Implementation

  • Develop and document best practice implementation to keep improving operational efficiencies within the team.
  • Setting standards on new products/services/tools/techniques including delivering training regionally to ensure teams understand and can execute the strategy appropriately.
  • Developing media planning processes to personalize the consumer experience enabling customer data to generate efficiencies in all media channel executions.
  • Collaborating with all shared services and the Client Solutions team to drive consistent training and solutions across channels.

 

Who we want:

In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying and/or in digital media sales
  • Proven experience in delivering clear, strategic presentations to C-level marketing executives
  • Deep understanding of digital media planning and buying and applied technologies
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • An established network of buyers and decision-makers in media agencies – you are on first name terms with the key people.
  • A proven track record of translating ideas into opportunities into products into new business and converting this into revenue.
  • Strong passion of digital culture and knowledge of trends and innovation in the digital space.
  • Curiosity, ambition, perseverance, integrity and experience in working in cross-cultural teams.
