Your Key Responsibilities

  • Complete detailed analyses of the market, competition & changing landscape of the digital content and health industries and come up with insights to support and enable the development of the audience strategy. 
  • Leverage your own experience, insight and local understanding of the audience preferences, behaviors and needs to provide a plan that provides a complete and engaging user experience for our existing and future audiences. 
  • Develop the detailed delivery plan that ties to the overall strategy, working with operations teams to ensure that resources required for delivery of the plan and strategy are in place to enable success. 
  • Lead the development of the annual, monthly & weekly content plans for the platform ensuring alignment between commercial, audience, product & marketing to facilitate overall business growth.
  • Sync regularly with the Marketing team to plan and come up with growth strategies to help drive an increase in audience performance and engagement across all channels, including SEO, social media and PR. 
  • Drive results through the constant analysis and review of data to improve and optimize the performance of the teams and the processes. 
  • Support with the reporting for client campaigns that relate to content, traffic and on-platform deliverables such as page views, sessions and engagement.

Who We Want

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, English, Communications, or other relevant field or commensurate experience with a minimum of 7 years of relevant writing experience.
  • 5-10+ Years in editorial and content management and leadership with a proven track record of high performance, audience growth & commercial success.
  • Highly detailed oriented with an understanding of more technical aspects of the digital editorial process including experience with data analytics tools, CMS systems and insights tools.
  • Strong experience working with SEO, from managing SEO best practices to analyzing SEO using Google Search Console and other SEO tools including (Ahrefs, Moz, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Innovative leader with a strong drive to improve performance, drive impact and create great user experiences for audiences on and offline. 
  • Self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to set up, manage and optimize detailed processes that govern the quality and operational performance. 
  • Website content development, social media, and video content experience preferred.
